HOW DO I JOIN A TEAM AS AN INDIVIDUAL?

TCSP does not assign individual players or couples to teams. Teams are self-managed. If you are interested in joining a team, please request to join our “Facebook Spares page“. There you will find instructions about how to use the group to connect to teams looking for players.

WHAT ARE TEAM BONDS?

TEAM BONDS serve two purposes. They are first used as deposits by the league to secure spots for teams. Later they are used to offset the cost of lost field keys, umpires when a team fails to notify the league of a game cancellation, and may be used to compensate the league for any and all other violations to league rules and regulations. Teams with remaining bond funds at the end of the year will have the amount returned to them. Teams that register prior to the season start date and then cancel will NOT have their bond/ deposit returned to them. The deposit will be considered nonrefundable.

WHAT DO LEAGUE FEES PAY FOR?

League fees pay for our field rentals, SPN insurance, umpires, equipment, and our website. Fees include the cost to play in the final Year-End Tournament.

Yes! We are expanding!

HOW LONG IS THE SEASON? HOW MANY GAMES SHOULD TEAMS EXPECT?

The season runs approximately 3.5 months. The final length depends on weather, field availability, and the final number of registered teams. We aim to begin the season the first weekend of April. Other than long weekends, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, teams will play two games each weekend for an average of about 20 regular-season games. This does not include tournament games.

WHEN IS THE YEAR-END TOURNAMENT?

The Year-End Tournament is typically scheduled for mid-July. All teams are notified of the date at the beginning of the season. The Year-End Tournament serves as the playoffs for our league. Teams can expect games Friday evening, all day Saturday, and all day Sunday, with the possibility of the tournament beginning the Sunday of the weekend prior.
